The YFC Identity.

Our identity is the result of our innate and core values that we in YFC want to live by.  Being a YFC is not just our spiritual, the 7 ID’s is the fullness of who and what we are as YFC.

Our uniqueness is our oneness and commonness as brothers and sisters in YFC.

Our uniqueness emanates from God – as individuals and as one body anchored on the image and likeness of God.

Our ultimate goal is to bring the young to Christ as His sons and daughters.

Our true and ultimate identity is that we are sons and daughters of God.

The YFC 7 ID’s

 
* Missionary
* Model of Excellence
* Champion of the Poor
* Patriot
* 100% Pure
* Single Minded for God
* Source of Unity to the Family
 


A.  Missionary. This is our distinct desire to deepen the living of our Christian faith for the love and service for others.

B.  Model of Excellence. This is our yearning for personal holiness in our walk with Christ. Our goal is to be excellent in our entire endeavor – our studies, in our service and in our mission.

C. Champion of the Poor. This is our desire to protect the value and dignity of the poor by putting our faith in complete action.

D. Patriot. This is our desire to cradle our love for God in active love for our country.

E.  100% Pure. This is rooted in our desire to protect life for the continuance of God’s work. To instill the Christian lifestyle in the young emphasizing on the sacredness of life and defend the culture of life versus the culture of death.

F.  Single Minded for God. This is our goal to forming men and women who will whole-heartedly minister and serve God building the Church of the Future.

G. Source of Unity to the Family. This is our deep aspiration to uphold unity of God’s plan for the family and for His domestic church. Our goal is to grow in the different facets, stages and states of life, thus instilling the value of unconditional love and commitment to everyone surrounding us in these times – our family, our friends, our community, etc.
