Welcome to CFC Youth for Christ Online Website

The CFC-Youth for Christ Community

CFC Youth For Christ (CFC-Youth) is a youth organization under the Couples For Christ Family Ministries. It is open to people aged 13-21 of any Christian denomination, although the majority of the members are Catholics. YFC creates an environment to help every young adult in their journey to become close with Christ. Like Couples for Christ, YFC calls for, "Rapid, massive, global evangelization."

It is now present in over a hundred countries and now has a lot of programs, which have somewhat varied from country to country. At the moment, YFC has grown to over a hundred countries in the world. Youth for Christ holds various activities like Sector assemblies, general assemblies, and Chapter meetings. The biggest activity of Youth for Christ however, is most likely the International Leaders' Conference or the ILC, wherein all YFC members from the Philippines meet, it is international because it also invites Youth for Christ representatives from other countries. YFC-International Leaders’ Conference held from April 3- 5 at the Metro Naga Sports Complex had more than 12,000 members (from the Philippines alone) who participated.

Why Join us?

  • The Fun. It is the place where you will hear the Word of God proclaimed by other young adults like yourselves in an environment of fun and excitement, where they do not experience any form of pressure from adults.
  • Friendship. It is the place where you can form friendships with one another through sports, games and as they share ideas and experiences, and entertain one another in a wholesome environment where Christian values are talked about and are actively practiced.
  • Freedom. Nothing is ever imposed on us. This principle springs from the basic belief that Christianity can only be lived out if it begins with an individuals personal decision to follow Christ.
  • Faith. Young people undergo a "conversion to Christ" experience, an experience healing and reconciliation with the immediate members of their family, especially their parents. The youth of today have a great knowledge of God but do not necessarily have faith in God. YFC intends to make “real “ the presence of Christ in the lives of young people.
  • It is the place where they will be stimulated and encouraged to develop their gifts and potentials for leadership as they are exposed to other young adults who are actively involved in serving them as speakers, facilitators, sports and games coordinators, and other services that are essential to the life of the Youth for Christ. More than that.... The Food. Sarap ng food, diba mga titos and titas?

Prayer is our communion with God, whether it be a petition made to God, worship, repentance, praise, or thanksgiving. It doesn't have to be a laid-out patent prayer, but words from the heart. Group prayer is a powerful force.  When multiple people bring the power of their thoughts and emotions together, the Law of Attraction can truly shine.  With many people working together to attract the same thing, a tremendous boost of energy goes into the thoughtform, and the universe hears this loud and clear.  Manifestations with a group can happen very quickly indeed.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

"TRUE LOVE WAITS .. AND SAYS "NO

(When Gods tells you to wait, you can be sure it'll be worth it.)

By: Alvin Barcelona

Do you know that God has three kinds of answer to prayers? His answer is either yes, wait, or no.

Believe me, no matter what kind of answer he gives you, you can be sure that he loves you and knows what's best for you.

God says and grants your prayers because he knows you need it and it will good for you.

He tells you to wait when he says that you are not ready for it yet.

He answers no and does not grant if he sees that what you are praying for will only  ruin your life. You can rest assured that he will give you something better!

When I was in high-school (quite a long time ago now), I prayed very hard for the girl that I courted-a pretty, demure, physically attractive (OK, sexy) beautiful creation that gave me sleepless nights and countless pimples-it give her sweet priceless "yes" to me. Guess what? She ever did. I almost stopped praying altogether since I thought it doesn't work anyway. When she rejected I felt what God giving me that painful, cold, heartless "no!"

I would again be frustrated may times over and even be deceived by two-timing girlfriend (you think only men can did that?) I questioned God what about why even after praying t him, these things I prayed for still left me broken and hurt.

As a result, I spent several years being loveless I busied myself with a lot of things, sport, music, theatre , into finishing my studies and with various interest- until with time I started working and earning well. Then something happened, I became good doing many things. Real good! I increased my value. And what do you know? Girls saw me as a prized catch! I had the luxury of choosing from among the girls who were interested in me.

At a relatively late age, I finally made my choice and got married to a wonderful woman who is now my partner, my best friend and my lifetime love. I cannot imagine life without her. And when I pray to God for my wife. I tell him. "Thank you for saying no to me then. Thank you for making me wait. It was truly worth it."

By the way, remember the pretty, demure, sexy girl whom I even cried over and over blamed god for my heart broken? She now looks like Madam Auring, and those girls who treated me like a lamp post? They would eagerly ask for my calling card when I chance upon them. And when they ask me who's the "commercial model" I'm with, I beam with pride and say, "she's my wife!"

When God says "no" to you and lets you to wait, be thankful. He is loving you more!

[ right, just wait! God will give it at the right time. We just have only to WAIT 'cause God is at time always. It's always exact it can't be late. It's always strikes on time! ]

thank you for reading! ^^,

godbless!
